Baker’s tips for better results
- 🎄 Save some M&Ms for the top: Add extras before and after baking for the prettiest cookies.
- 🧈 Use room-temperature butter: It creams better and gives the cookies their soft texture.
- 🔥 Don’t overbake: Pull them when the edges are just turning golden as they’ll finish setting on the baking sheet (I burnt many cookie batches as a young baker to learn the hard way really!)
- 🧁 Same-size scoops: Even sizing keeps the cookies uniform and ensures consistent baking.
- 🍫 Add mix-ins if you wish or not: I added semi-sweet chocolate chips for this recipe. I admit that this addition makes cookies very sweet. You don’t have to add anything more than the M&Ms. And you can remake them for a different season with different mix-ins!
- 🍺Serve with a glass of milk or your favorite holiday beverage!
